Makeup tutorial: Purple glam look

Hey guys!

Today I'm going to be doing something different. Basically I created a glam purple eye look. It is like a dark purple smoked out with brown in the outer corner and crease to darken the eye up a bit to make it look more glam. I also took some of the purple colour and blended it across the bottom lash line.

(Btw I know the lashes aren't on perfect but I tried)

(With flash, no filter)

(No flash, no filter)

Products used on face:

- Mac skin base visage as a primer and rubbed all over my face with my fingers.

- Loreal true match foundation blended with the real techniques buffing brush.

- Mac highlighter/concealer in light boost and blended this with the real techniques expert face brush.

- Soap and glory one heck of a blot powder and applied it with the Mac 134 brush.

- Mac blush 'mocha' and applied this with the real techniques blush brush.

- Benefit watts up highlighter and blending this with my finger.

Products used on eyes:

- Maybelline great lash mascara.

- urban decay vice 4 palette, I used the shade 'Pandemonium' all across my lid with the brush it came with on the flat side. Then I used the shade 'delete' on the outer corner and in my crease blended with the brush it came with on the blending side. (Super easy!)

- Rimmel scandal eyes black eyeliner on the waterline. 

- Eyelure 101 lashes.

Products used on lips:

- Mac subculture lipliner.

- Mac taupe lipstick.

What I got for Christmas 2015!

Hey guys!!!

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas!

Today I'll be sharing with you what I got for Christmas. I got loads of exciting things and I'm sure you did to!

First up I got a selfie stick and this is so cool because I've wanted one for the longest time and I've finally got one!

Then I got a Betty bath set and basically I got this set for one of my friends and then I really wanted one aswell so I got one and I can't wait to use it, theres some bath crystals which I'm actually really excited about and then a bubble bath, they also smell incredible and they remind me of going on holiday (idk why lol)

Then I got a cute set of bath bombs, I  absolutely love them the theme of them is chocolates and they all smell of chocolate but some are minty and some are fruity and they are just so nice, they make a difference because I always get bath bombs from lush and finally I can try something different.

I also got the Real techniques core collection brushes and the concealer brush. I love this brand for brushes and I'm so excited to play around with these ones because I know their going to be da bomb.

I also got this massive eyeshadow palette which is so nice, I'm yet to try it but I'm so excited to play around with this.

I got the urban decay vice 4 palette which is absolutely incredible!!! There's so many different looks you can create and the brown toned colours are going to be the colours I go to all the time because there so neutral yet pretty. 

I've been wanting a eyebrow pencil for the longest time, I have some but none of them are the perfect colour. However, I know the Mac stud pencil is, so I asked for this and I got it which I'm so happy about... Finally my eyebrows can 'slayyyy'.

I wear blush almost every day and the Mac blushes get talked about on a daily on YouTube so I put a few shades on my Christmas list and I got the shade 'Mocha' which is really pretty and natural. I know I'll be wearing this all the time.

I then got this lipsy party palette! This palette is so pretty, it has 4 eyeshadows and 4 lip tints! This is such a great travel pallette and I'm glad I can finally try some of lipsys makeup.

I also got hair straighteners which I'm really happy about because I always straighten my hair and I always use my mums ones but now I have my own and I can take my time whilst doing my hair!

Then omg I got the benefit watts up highlighter and I can't wait to try this because its so nice and creamy and it looks super natural!

Then I got a £15 iTunes card so I can finally listen to Justin biebers songs without wifi (whoop whoop!!!)

I also got the little mix gold magic set. It comes with a rollerball perfume, a bottled perfume and also a body wash, I'm so excited about this as it smells amazing and the packaging is also so pretty!

I also got a Michael kors perfume!!! This is so nice, I love it so much and it's a very  unique scent, it kinds of smells like sweet almonds but it's really lovely and soft, I love it!

Then I got the Chanel mademoislle perfume!!!  I've been wanting this for ages but it's too expensive but my mum got it for me and this is literally the best smelling perfume I've ever tried!!!! I love it!

I also got a electric hand whisk, I love to bake and this will just come in handy! 

 Last of all I got  money which I'm probably going to try and save up.... Lol I don't think that will last for long...

Christmas gift guide

Hello guys!!!

So Christmas is fast my approaching which means lots of shopping for presents!!!

But sometimes it can be hard to think of what to get some people so I'm fling to be telling you a few ideas you can get most people of all ages.

Teenage girls/ woman

1. Makeup- if you know someone that wears makeup then makeup is quite a fun/easy gift to shop for. You could get a lovely eyeshadow palette like the Urban decay ones or you could get a pretty lipstick! 

2. Jewellery- Now I don't think you can go wrong with a pretty necklace or some earrings (as long as they wear them). Most girls/woman wear jewellery and a basic piece would be much appreciated whether it's expensive or not. Pandora/ Ted baker do really lovely pieces of jewellery on a higher budget and I know new look and H Samuels do lovely jewellery on a lower budget.

3. A luxurious perfume- I feel like perfume will always be a timeless gift because people always wear it every single day and I know whenever I see a lovely perfume (Armani) I always see it's about £60 and I'm like "nooo way" when I can get one for £20. But a luxurious perfume like Chanel, Armani and Michael kors I'm sure anyone would appreciate!

4. Spa day voucher- Who doesn't like to get pampered???? Exactly. So why not give your daughter/mum/niece/sister/friend/gold fish (joking with fish btw, got a bit carried away) a spa voucher?! You can purchase them from Argos I believe or from shopping apps like wowcher. You can get cheap ones and expensive ones with the price ranging from £30-200 and it's a lovely little gift. 

Teenage boys/men

1. Aftershave- I feel like aftershave like perfume is one of them timeless gifts that men will always need and you can get really nice affordable gift sets like from tk max.

2. Asos do a book called 'Stuff every man needs to know'. I feel like this will be one of those cool different presents and it's very affordable. 

3. Branded hoodie- Now this may be stereotypical but nearly every boy I know owns a hoody! And I feel like getting them a nice good quality one will be a nice luxurious gifts. A jack wills or superdry hoody is perfect and I think they are about £50-60 so they aren't even that expensive either. 

4. Game console game - If you know a boy/man that has got a Xbox or PlayStation then a game is perfect to go with it! You can't really go wrong as long as you know what games they like playing whether there fighting or car games (black ops 3 or forza).

What I got for my birthday 2015!

Hey guys!

So as you may know my birthday was on the 16th November and I got some amazinggggggg gifts which I'm going to share with you.

First of all...I got a iPhone 6s in rose gold, it's so nice I love it so much!

I can't really show you it because I'm on it right now but yeah...

Then I got a few goodies from my sister!

First being zoellas makeup bag, which I loveeeee!

Then she kindly got me a mascara because she knew I desperately needed a new one... She got me the Maybelline rocket one.

Then she got me the Tanya Burr eyeshadow palette, I'm so excited to use this and I'm so glad there all matte so they'll give off a really natural look.

My friend also got me some beautiful earrings.

... And she got me this lip balm which smells so nice... Of strawberries!

Then I got money from the majority of my family which I'm so happy with... I was suppose to be saving up for a nice watch but I couldn't help myself but buy makeup! So I'm going to show you what makeup I've gotten!

First of all I have gotten 3 revolution palettes... There was a 3 for 2 deal so why not..?! 

Then I decided to get 2 more eyeshadow palettes because I really needed them didn't I...? I'm so excited because firstly I got the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette which is stunning! 

I'm so happy with this... It was £27.00 from Beautybay if anyone is wondering and I think that's such a good price considering you get 14 highly pigmented eyeshadows.

Then... I got the zoeva Cocoa blend palette!

This palette was also from Beautybay for only £15.50 which is insane... That's £1.55 per eyeshadow... Like wattttt!

Then I wanted to try some new mascaras so I got the Rimmel scandal eyes and also the maybelline falsies which is my absolute favvvv! 

Last of all I got myself  the soap and glory one heck of a blot powder.. I've used this so much already because it really does help me stay matte all day. I can apply this once in the morning then I won't have to re apply until the evening which is quite unusual for me because I'm topping up at least 3 times a day! 

I was actually suppose to get the kick ass powder but it was out of stock at the time but I'll probably still buy it but just not until after Christmas. It was from boots at £12.00

I actually did get a topshop voucher, iTunes voucher and some bubble bath and lush things which I've already used because I am not very patient.

Wishlist: what I want (luxurious items)

Hey guys!

Today I thought I'd share with you the top 5 things I really want!

With my birthday 16 days away and christmas 2 months, I'm bound to get some of these. 

First up is this beautiful bag. It's the michael Kors Selma and I think it'll be such a nice piece to go with any outfit.

  

Secondly is this watch. It's so gourgeous and i think I might purchase this with my birthday money. 

Thirdly UGGS! I have wanted these since since year 6 but the price kills me! Although victoria secret sell them for £100 I don't know why but depending on how much birthday money I get, these would be a nice gift from me to me.

Fourthly these trainers.... I absoloutly love the colour of these and the style. I think they'll look so nice with any outfit and just urghh. 

Last of all the iphone 6s rose gold. Like I've mentioned in previous posts I really need a new phone and I was due a upgrade so I upgraded to this phone. I'm so excited but I can't have it until my brithday because it is a present. So I'm still in the process of wanting this phone hehe.

Exciting life update!!!

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to chat with you about my life and just random stuff in general. 

So being back at school literally has been so tiring, I hate getting up early for school and walking to and back from school it's so long you know. Anyway I haven't been getting too much homework recently which is good I suppose but I bet  going to get tons now I just said that. I have to choose where I want to do work expierience and I don't know where to do it, I want to do something involving makeup when I'm older (e.g makeup artist) but for work expierience I don't know where to go involving makeup. I was thinking a salon but I don't really want to wash people's hair and clean, you know, washing my own hair and cleaning my own room is a chore in itself and doing other people's all day everyday would be a headache. Lool ramble over.

Omg changing the subject now I really really am obsessed with ready salted crisps and chocolate together, it tasted so nice, I don't even know why.

My birthday is so soon (November) and I really want to get the iphone 6 Gold 16gb because I have the iphone 4S which is ok but it's so old now and I'll like a new one but I don't know if I'll get it because I think it's expensive, hopefully I'm due a upgrade though! I really want a nice gold watch, like a Micheal Kors or dkny one, I might spend my birthday/Christmas money on a nice watch because the one I have now has badly discoloured!

MAC & Superdrug haul August 2015

Hey guys!

 

So today I have got a makeup haul for you guys!

I'm so excited to do this, I feel like I haven't made a splurge on makeup in ages.

Anyway... I have been to MAC and superdrug and picked up a few goodies. I love growing my makeup collection, it makes me so happy so yeah, let's get into it. By the way not all the makeup was purchased with my own money, my Nan and Mum did purchase some of this for me.

Also guys I know I said I was going to do a massive primark haul in my last haul but I'm not now because I went into Primark and literally found hardly anything I liked so I decided to get makeup instead lol. I hope you don't mind!

What I got from superdrug!!!

 

First of all I got 2 skincare products. I got the Garnier pure active 3 in 1 which is targeted towards oil, spot prone skin and it's basically a wash, scrub and a mask. I also got the Garnier pure active pore purifying toner. Now I've tried both of these products and so far so good. They make my face super matte and my spots have actually disappeared. So I'm very happy. They are realy cheap aswell, both of these were in sale in superdrug and I think they were both around the £5.00 mark.

Then I got some boring stuff. And I got Veet face precision wax strips and Nair tough hair removal cream. These are both pretty self explanatory. The wax strips are fantastic and the cream im yet to try. 

I also picked up a new foundation. Now I loved the maybelline superstay better skin foundation but now the loreal true match foundation has totally changed my mind. This foundation is amazing, it's matte, the perfect shade in W3 and lasts all day whlist looking natural. I have been wearing this foundation every day over the last few weeks and I can't get over how good it is, I really want to try the concealer. The foundation is around £10.00 which is so affordable. 

Then I picked up the Maybelline 24 hour gel liner. Now I've been wanting to try  agel eyeliner for the longest time because I've heard that they are easier than any other eyeliner to do a winged liner. I'm really excited to give this a try, if I like it I'll let you guys know.

I also picked up the MUA lipliner in the shade 'caramel nougat'. This lipliner is amazing for £1.00. It lasts a long time and the colour is beautiful, it's just a nude but it goes perfectly with MAC's honeylove lipstick. If you have been reading my blogs for a while you would know how much I have raved about this lipliner.

Then I have been wanting to try some liquid lipsticks for ages so I picked up the Rimmel provacolips. I must say that the nude one '200 skinny dipping' is such a lovely browney nude, but the formula kind of goes into the lines on your lips which im not to keen on, however I still need to wear them a bit more before I have a set opionon on them. The pink one is called 'dare to bare'. These were around £7.00 each.

I have been wanting to try the maybelline colour drama pencils for ages and I got the nude one, I can't remember the exact name but I think it's called perfecting nude or something like that, I will have to check and let you know, but anyway this is such a nice lip pencil, it's like a 'your lips but better' lip colour and I like wearing this whenever I can't be bothered to wear a lot of makeup, it's just quite natural and pretty. I love it and I think it was only like £5.00.

The Maybelline colour tattoos I swear I see everyone talk and use these on YouTube lol. But the colour I got was 'on and on bronze' and it is just a true bronze colour. I haven't used it yet but it will be so nice all over the lids if you just want a really easy look, or as a base of you want to create more of a 'glam' look.  This was  only around £6.00 so super affordable.

Now my MAC goodies!!!

First of all guys, if you have any 6 MAC empty containers/packaging and you keep them you get a free original MAC lipstick. So for every 6 MAC blush, bronzer, foundation, concealer and primer container/packaging you get a free MAC lipstick, isn't that awesome!

That is how I got the 2 MAC lipsticks above. I got 'Taupe' which is a stunning browney, orangey colour, and its matte, and then I got 'Modesty' which is a beautiful pinky nude colour and it's a creme sheen.

Then to go with the MAC lipstick taupe I got the lipliner in 'subculture' and this brings out the pink undertones in taupe, rather than the orange ones. It was £12.50. 

Last of all I got my holy grail primer, skin base visage. This is so good, it helps keep me matte all day and I literally swear by this primer, I don't know what I'd do without it! I think this is quite pricey, it's like £26.00 but it's totally worth it.

My top ten favourite youtubers 2015

Hello guys,

Today I'm going to share with you my top ten favourite youtubers, I love youtube so much, especially when I'm watching hauls or makeup tuturials.

1. My favourite youtuber is Zoella, she has been so successful over the past years and her videos are alsways funny and lighthearted, and omg her baby Nala is so cute.

2. Secondly I absoloutly love Gabby from Velvetgh0st! She is always so bubbly and she makes me laugh. I always love we makeup and I loved her nose piercing so much, I think it really suited her lol. I'm rambling now but I just really like her . It really upset me when ZABBY were no longer around but now they are... YAY!   

3. Thirdly I love Leyla from Makeupbyleyla... She is so creative with her makeup looks, and her brows are just to die for.... LOL. She also has such a nice personality and her hair it's so beautiful. Oh & her editing is amazing aswell... Can't forget that.

4. Fourthly I love Kiera xo. Her hauls are my favourite hauls ever, she has such great style and a beautiful figure, her eyeshadow is always amazing aswell.

5. Then I love Alexandra from Alexandrasgirlytalk because she always shares great beauty hacks that I don't know and I also really like her voice. She's also really encouraging and bubbly.

6. Then I absoloutly love Kathleen Lights. She is so funny, I can't watch a video without laughing and she is really down to earth and kind. 

7. I also really like Andrea from MynameisAndrea she is so lovely, she is my age so I can relate to her a lot and also she's very down to earth aswell and she says what she want to say, like it dosent seems she edits a lot out.

8. I love Anastasia from floral princess, once again she is my age and she has come so far. Her makeup is always so natural and pretty and she makes such a effort with her videos.

9. I love Emily Victoria Canham, I love her editing and I love her makeup, her makeup is always gorgeous and her Mac lipstick collection video was one of my favourites, she has such nice plump lips aswell.

10. Last of all I love Alicia from Aliciasbeauty. Her hair is so nice and I love her videos and her personality. Also I love it when she does videos with her brother because they are so funny together, especially when they done the bean boozled challenge LOL.

August favs 2015

Hey guys!

So today I'm going to be doing a August favs... I have been loving a few things this month which I want to share with you guys.

So first up I have got the powder I have been loving. I can't remember wether or not I've mentioned it in another monthly favs but if I have never mind because it's worth mentioning again! This powder is a great light matte powder, it keeps your shine down and I really love this powder, so if your suffering with a oily face, get this powder and I guarantee you'll be shine free...

   

Then my holy grail foundation is the loreal true match, it's so awesome, that's all I'm going to say! If you want a full review on this foundation then let me know but I think it is much better than the MAC studio fix foundation. 

Now, I have mentioned this blush in a lot of blog posts but I have to mention it again... The Mua cream blusher in the shade 'Blossom' is my favourite blusher in the world! It's very pigmented, easy to use, cheap, and it is so illuminating and dewy! Literally I put this onto my cheeks and it makes my cheeks glow up so beautifully, it lasts most of the day but it does tend to fade after around 6 hours but you can just top it up seeing as you don't need to use a brush with this you can just simply dab it in with your fingers (as long as their clean!). It's also very small and compact so it's great for traveling!

Then the Garnier pure active toner is really good for oily skin! It makes my skin super matte instantly, I love using his before applying my makeup to create a matte base and also after I take of my makeup. It leaves you feeling so refreshed and makes your skin feel so healthy! I've now discovered my new love!

I have never been really into hair care, but recently I have been having my hair down a lot more often and I hate my frizzy hair, so my mum got me the TIGI bed head after party and can I just say it tames frizz  like nothing else! After I have styled my hair, wether it's up or down I always use one pump of this hair cream and I smooth it all over the ends of my hair and it gives me amazing results! This is around £16 and it's totally worth it!  Also it smells really girly, I can't explain it, lol.

Last of all is another hair are product, it's actually a straightening cream, basically whenever I want to straighten my hair I always smooth this onto my damp hair and then after I've blow dried and straightened my hair it helps to keep my hair smooth and manageable. It also smells really nice, kind of tangy and sweet.
